Beginners Camp Matheran - Children Camp

The most exciting day for all the participants is departing from Mumbai at 07:00 Am for Matheran. Room Allotment: After reaching the hill station, everyone will be allotted their respective rooms. Team Division: Next the participants will be divided equally into teams which will depend on the total number of children. This division will surely help your toddler grow up and lead a team. Also, team division gives an overall experience to your child about how to work and adjust yourself in a team. Various activities will be conducted right from the first day of the camp. These activities are divided in three days as follows Map Reading Map reading is a fun filled activity that makes your child an active participant in studying a map carefully and learn its benefits during treks and trails. When your child learns to read a map correctly, he/she will be very sure about where his goal lies. Thus, map reading activity offers your child to develop self confidence and concentration on their future goals. Treasure Hunt Why not help your child turn a daily chore in to a treasure hunt As the word specks, treasure hunt is a cheerful activity which makes a child churn his brain to interpret clues and reach the goal. Treasure hunt also helps your child to develop a team building spirit. Horse Riding It is said that if you visit Matheran, you should surely have a ride on the horseback. Horse riding is a fun filled thrilling experience on the streets of Matheran where no vehicles are allowed to enter. Hence, your child can easily ride on the horse back galloping your way to the table top Nature Trail Blending with Nature on a quiet trail in the beautiful greens of deciduous forests and natures bounty comprising many varied species of insects and birds

Swimming A refreshing pool just waiting for you outside the hotel premises. A great dive along with a complete breakfast is a perfect start to a brand new day. Adventure Activities Ropes and ladder, harnesses and knots, lots of adrenaline and competitive spirit a perfect way to charge up the kids for tasks of various difficulties. Adventure activities will include rappling, river crossing, night trekking, tree climbing and much more. Sightseeing Seeing A relaxed time for admiring the beauty of Matheran after a heavy morning and a peaceful dinner before retiring to bed.

Trekking: A Natures call again a frenzy to master the art of exploring on foot! Traditional Games: Back k to basics with traditional Indian games and lots of fun by lake Here, the camp ends with all the happy faces ready to board and reach Mumbai to share their thrilling experiences with their parents and loved ones. Finally at the end of the day, all the children would depart for Mumbai at 07:00 Pm. Please Note: This is a sample itinerary.
