Day 1
Arrival Paro
Our representative will receive you at the Paro International Airport, Paro (2280m) and escort you to the hotel. Dinner will be served in the hotel. |

Day 2
Sightseeing Paro
After breakfast drive to cheela pass, On the way we may see the following birds:
- Colorful Himalayan Monal
- Flocks of Blood Pheasnts
- Kalij Pheasants
- Grosbeaks
- Bullfinches
- Cutia
Besides, we can also see the mountain Jhomolhari and Jichu Drakye beautifully on clear days from the pass. After that drive back to Paro.
After reaching Paro have Tea / coffee and Proceed towards Drukgyel Dzong, 14 kilometres from the Paro town. Drukgyel Dzong was built by Shabdrung Ngawang Namgyal in 1649 to commemorate the victory over Tibetan invaders in 1644. Afternoon visit National Museum housed in Ta-Dzong which was built in 1656 and served as the watch tower of Paro Dzong in the past. Visit Paro Dzong, also called the Rinchen Phug Dzong, which means fortress on a heap of Jewels. Paro Dzong is one of the most impressive and well-known dzongs of Bhutan and was built in 1644 |

Day 3
Paro to Thimphu
After breakfast, drive to Thimphu, the capital city of Bhutan. The drive normally takes about an hour and a half. check in the Hotel, Have Tea and coffee, after that drive to cheri monastery and during hike we may find / see the following birds:-

- Fire Capped Tit
- Golden Breasted Fulvetta
- Yellow Backed Flower Packer
- Maroon Backed Accentor

Day 4
Thimphu Sightseeing, (2320m)
After breakfast visits : National Library which was established in 1967 and has many ancient Dzongkha and Tibetan texts), Painting School or the National Institute for Zorig Chusum (the 13 traditional arts and crafts like painting, woodcarving, embroidery and statue making) than visit National Memorial Chorten which was built in 1974 in memory of the third King of Bhutan.
Tashichhodzong (Tashichhodzong the seat of the government of Bhutan. It houses the secretariat, the Throne Room, His Majesty's secretariat, the Ministry of Home and Cultural Affairs and the Ministry of Finance).
Afternoon visit Zoo : (The Motithang Takin Preserve in Thimphu is a wildlife reserve area for takin, the National Animal of Bhutan. Originally a mini-zoo, it was converted into a preserve when it was discovered that the animals refrained from inhabiting the surrounding forest even when set free).
If the sightseeing falls on the weekend you can visit Thimphu's open vegetable market where farmers from the nearby regions gather to sell their produce. Back to Hotel for Dinner. |

Day 5
Dochula Sightseeing, Drive Thimphu to Paro
The first stop on this road journey is at Dochula pass at 3,140 meters. Dochula is about 23 kilometres from Thimphu and during a clear day it offers a clear view of the Himalayas. And following birds species can be found on our way :
- Gold naped Finch
- Rufous breasted Bush Robin
- Satyr Tragopan
- Slender billed Scimitar Babbler
- Tree Creepers
After refreshments in Dochula the journey continues to Paro and after Lunch visit Paro Town. Return to hotel. Dinner is served in the Hotel. |
