Day 1

Arrive at Jammu & Drive to Katra (55 kms / 2-3 hrs)

On your arrival in Jammu, you will be welcomed by our representative who will assist and escort you to your waiting vehicle. From the station / airport it is a minimum of 02 hrs. drive to the holy town of Katra. We will drive on the outskirts of the Jammu city and traverse across the Trikuta hills to eventually arrive in Katra and Rest of the day at leisure for individual activities.

Day 2

Katra

After an early morning breakfast we will begin with a short drive to the base of the trek from where we will begin our trek. The ascent is good and you will be meeting a lot of co-pilgrims on their way up. Situated at a distance of 12 kilometers, the pilgrimage will take a whole day coming and going which also includes brief stops for rest. A popular belief holds that anybody who walks this Himalayan trail to her abode to ask for a boon rarely go back disappointed. After paying your obeisance in front of the deity, you will trek downhill and reach your hotel for a welcome period of rest and relaxation.

Day 3

Katra - Pahalgam (280 kms / 7-8 hrs)

After breakfast at the hotel, we will begin our day journey towards Pahalgam. The route traverses through the picturesque mountain resort of Patnitop where we stop for a brief rest over a cup of tea / coffee. From Patnitop we will drive to Ramban that also serves as our next stop for lunch. From Ramban we will drive to Banihal and enter the 2.5 kilometer long Jawahar tunnel that connects the valley of Kashmir with the rest of India. We will emerge from the other side to a warm sunny afternoon and continue our drive towards Pahalgam. On arrival in Pahalgam, we will check in at the hotel and stay there for the night.

Day 4

In Pahalgam

You can trek or hire ponies to the meadow at Baisaran (5 km) you can also hire local car and visit Aru, Chandanwari and Betab Valley. NB:- Pony Rides and Visit to Aru, Chandanwari and Betab Valley is not included in Package

Day 5

Pahalgam to Srinagar and Local Sightseeing of Srinagar (90 Kms / 2-3 Hrs)

After Early Check out, drive towards Srinagar (Two and a half hour). After check in and refresh, go for Local Sightseeing of famous Mughal Gardens With terraced lawns, cascading fountains, paintbox-bright flowerbeds with the panorama of the Dal in front of them - the three Mughal Gardens of Chesmashahi, Nishat and Shalimar are the Mughal Emperors concept of paradise and are today very popular places for picnics and excursions. In the Afternoon visit Jamia Masjid, Hazratbal Shrine, Shahi Hamdan Mosque.

Day 6

Srinagar - Gulmarg - Srinagar (54.9 kms / 2:20 mints)

After breakfast in the morning, we will begin our country side day trip towards Gulmarg. The drive past colorful villages and rice fields, gives you an insight of the rich cultural past of Kashmir. We arrive at a small picturesque market town of Tangmarg and drive ahead on a scenic drive of 14 kilometers to Gulmarg. We arrive in Gulmarg early in the afternoon and begin a short tour around the meadow familiarizing ourselves with the beauty. In Gulmarg we will board the Gondola cable car system, and ascend towards the Afarwatt Mountain range. The 08 minutes of ropeway will take you past colorful shepherd hutments to the lower ridge of the Afarwatt peak. From here you can click lots of photos of the nearby mountain ranges that stand tall like sentinels guarding the rich natural beauty of Kashmir valley. We descend back to Gulmarg base after an hour or so and later do some horse-riding to the strawberry valley. In the evening we will drive back to Srinagar where we can take a walk along the banks of the Dal Lake or simply rest in the cozy rooms of our hotel. NB:- Pony Rides and Gondola Tickets are not included in Package

Day 7

Srinagar - Sonamarg (79.2 kms / 2 hrs)

We begin our second day with a sumptuous breakfast at the hotel. After breakfast we will drive to the majestic mountain resort of Sonamarg. The route towards Sonamarg takes us on a picturesque country side drive where we will come across rolling hills, green forests, clear water streams and blooming rice fields. We will zoom past the town of Kangan which handles all the local needs of this region. From Kangan, we will drive towards Mammar, famous for its trout farm and stopover for a warm cup of tea before we head towards Sonamarg. We will once again alight from our vehicles at the tourist spot of Gagangir. The spot is built in the middle of the river Sindh and looks like an island with snow glaciers covering one or the other spot. In Sonamarg we will take a 3 hour walk or horseback trip to the Thajwass glacier. After our return we will visit the small town market for some snacks or just pay a visit observing the local people going with their daily routine. We will drive back to Srinagar in the evening

Day 8

Srinagar - Jammu via Patnitop Sightseeing

Mahalasa World Travel Service will not bear any cost for flight cancelled ordelayed due to Bad weather or any other reason given by the airline. Cost for accommodation and transport in such cases will have to be borne by passengers.
No Refund or Compensation for any unused services or transport in any kind of circumstance.
No changes in the date of travel once booked.
Room allotment will be as per availability at the time of check in, floor or view preferences are not guaranteed.
Food menu as per availability of vegetables based on Buffet/Fixed menus.
Any dispute will be subject to Mumbai jurisdiction.
25% advance (Non Refundable) to be deposited at the time of booking confirmation & Balance 75% one month prior to arrival. If anybody fails to the balance amount before given time, he shall be deemed as cancelled, and the deposit shall not be refunded. If we cancel the tour from the our part, due to insufficient number of passenger or any other reason then we shall refund the full amount of the tour, hence we will not be responsible for the cancellation charges applicable for train/air tickets. But if we are forced to cancel the tour due to the natural calamities like flood, riots, bandhs, strikes etc. then we shall refund the tour cost after deducting 10% as our service charge for making the necessary arrangements for you.

Cost of Child between 5 to 11 Yrs (Without Bed only) & for extra Bed kindly consider the cost of Extra Bed.
Child below 5 Yrs of age will be complimentary.
Any addition in Tax or Fuel charge done by Airlines / Transport Company etc will be chargeable to group members.
