Day 1

Arrival at Dang

Lunch at Farmhouse Relax Village welcome by Tribes. Engage into any of these routine activities: Milking cattle, Breaking shell of the paddy by traditional way, making floor using chakki (a pair of cylindrical stone), Dung Flooring, Bamboo art work, Chopping wood, etc. See the tools of traditional hunting (the tribes have stopped hunting now since they have started realizing the importance of showcasing wildlife in natural habitat as a tool for generating income. We follow the philosophy of sustainable tourism) Tea Break - Experience Tribal Tea made from local herbs Learn the Tribal Language Dinner in Tribes Home - Participate in preparation of authentic organic dinner with tribes (learn insights of making food in traditional way) Back to the farm house & Relax

Day 2

Depart to Ahwa

Breakfast at Farm House Depart to Ahwa for Dang Darbar and Participate in the Rally followed by Music and Folk dance. See Ethnic traditional tribal performances followed by the ceremony of Awarding Political Pension to the Kings and Naiks of Dangs Lunch Depart for Farm House and relax till 4.15 pm Forest Trek - Tribes will showcase forest resources used for their living, Plant a Tree or Water to the plantation done for conserving the forest and get chance to see the wildlife into the natural habitat. Vansda National Park - Depart

Early morning departure from Farm House to explore wildlife in Vansda National Park. Breakfast in transit Visit Vansda Nation Park - This will be 3 to 4 hours of Deep Forest Trek guided by local tribes. You may get chance to explore: Different variety of birds (carrying binocular & camera recommended) - Grey Hornbill, Paradise Fly Catcher, Racket Tailed Drongo, Kingfisher, Wood Pecker, Hoopoe, Parakeets, Indian Sparrow, Mayhna, Egret, Ibis, Kite, Owl, Eagle, Sunbirds, Flying Squirrel, Chameleon, Mangoos, Rabbit, Snakes & Pythons, Variety of Spiders, Insects and Butterfly. Do not carry heavy luggage while travelling. It burns your energy and takes the fun away.
Man can wear Shirts or T shirts and pants or shorts. Dress conservatively. Females can wear pants or skirts reaching below the knee. No sleeveless tops. Avoid indecent exposure of your attire. Ideal dressing is the Indian attire (Chudidar for females and Dhoti Kurta for males). Villagers will respect you if you accept their customs.
Remove shoes or sleepers when you enter village house
Alcohol consumption is strictly prohibited in Gujarat unless you own permit. The best way to distress is by involving into various activities in the itinerary.
Do not use abusive language or play loud music. By doing this you will only loose respect and get divided from the locals.
Talk to your local coordinator who will accompany you in all activities in case of any discomfort.
In case you are curious to try something please do so but with permission of your coordinator only.
Avoid leaving plastics in the rooms while departing. You can avoid this by carrying less plastic while boarding.
Be prepared to face the hot weather during summers however the nights are pleasant. Monsoon and winter are the most pleasant seasons. Luxury of Air Conditioner is not available except in case of any AC Taxi.
Fresh Organic Vegetarian meal will be served in breakfast, lunch and dinner. In case of test preference please update in advance. Normally the tribal food is spicy so instruct your coordinator for your taste preference.
Rural Pleasure will not be responsible for any physical harm during the village level activity. If you follow the instruction of the coordinator chances of getting hurt remain rare.
Carry your personal toiletries, towel, toilet paper, sun screen lotion, etc.
Laundry service is not available. We conserve water.
Carry desired medicines. In case of any allergy, please inform the coordinator to take care of your stay.
Be prepared of poor mobile network in some locations. It is good to get disconnected sometimes! However, you can share +91 9408420565 with your important contacts during your stay. This is a BSNL no.
Carry torch, umbrella, trekking shoes, sleepers and most important of all – Camera to capture once in a life time moments.
Be prepared for power failure. Hence it is advisable for photographers to carry additional charged battery for camera.
Keep worm clothes in winter for extra protection
In case you spot some wildlife crossing the road while you are driving, please park your vehicle aside and let the animals cross the road. Also give indication/signal to vehicles coming from opposite side. A simple action will help save life of wildlife crossing the road which otherwise may get affected by probable accident.
