Tsomgo Lake in Sikkim, right next to the Tibetan settlements. (that should actually read the other way round!) Tsomgo Lake is located in the north eastern part of Sikkim, about 35 km from Sikkims capital Gangtok on the Gangtok-Nathula highway, part of the erstwhile Silk Route. This lake is considered holy and sacred by the Sikkimese people, who worship it. The average depth of this lake is about 50 feet and it is about a kilometer long.

Welcome to NJP/IXB. Meet and be assisted by our representative at the airport/Railway Station. Proceed to Darjeeling, also called 'Queen of the hills' (100 kms 3.5 hrs. On arrival at Darjeeling, check in at your hotel. Evening you can visit the local market or Mall on foot. |

Early Morning at 0400 AM visit Tiger Hill famous for sunrise over Mt. Kanchendzonga, on way back visit Ghoom Monastery, Batasia Loop and back to hotel. After breakfast visit Himalayan Mountaineering Institute, PNZ Zoological Park (closed on Thursday) Tenzing Rock, Tibetan Refuge Centre (closed on Sunday), Tea Garden (outer view).
