Day 2
Mnt. Sinai

Early rising to climb Mnt. Sinai for Sunrise. (breakfast box from hotel) climb mountain by Siqat Abass Path (optional by camel). From summit guided overlook over the area. Descend mountain by Stephanus Gate (3,000 steps). Visit the Greek Orthodox Church at the Snt. Catherine Monastery, see site of the Burning Bush & Well of Jethros Daughters. In the Monasterys Garden enter the Skulk Room and roam around Olive Grove. Optional lunch at local Restaurant in the near by Bedouin Village. Afternoon return to Taba with optional, time permitting, s/o in Nuwieba Oasis. Return to Taba Border. |
