The semi private tours are available only in English. The group tours doesn’t include pick up and drop off at the hotel: we’ll provide a meeting point.

Day 1

Arrival in Rome

Transfer from the airport of Rome to the hotel. Stay in a 3 stars hotel in the city centre.

Day 2

Rome

Breakfast at the hotel. Half day group walking tour in Rome with an English speaking tour guide, to discover the main squares of Rome, like Spanish Steps, Trevi Fountain, Piazza Navona and Pantheon.

Day 3

Rome-Amalfi Coast

Breakfast at the hotel. Train transfer from Rome to Naples. Private transfer from the train station to the hotel in the Amalfi Coast. Stay in a 3 stars hotel in the city centre of Sorrento.

Day 4

Amalfi Coast-Capri-Amalfi Coast

Breakfast at the hotel. Meeting with your guide at the port of Sorrento for the ferry transfer to Capri. Full day group tour in Capri with an English speaking tour guide on board a minibus. You will discover the beauties of Capri and Anacapri and you can also taste a light lunch (included). Return back. Overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 5

Amalfi Coast

Breakfast at the hotel. Half day food and wine tour on a typical road train, with tasting (light lunch) and pre-registered commentary in English. Afternoon at your disposal.

Day 6

Amalfi Coast-Palermo (Sicily)

Breakfast at the hotel. Private transfer from Sorrento to Naples airport. Flight to Palermo and private transfer to your hotel. Stay at a 3 stars hotel in the city centre of Palermo.

Day 7

Palermo - Sagesta - Erice - Palermo

Breakfast at the hotel. Daily group excursion from Palermo to Erice and Segesta with English speaking driver. After pick-up from the Palermo Hotel, you will drive to western Sicily to reach Erice. Wander through its ancient streets and visit some of the famous homemade pastry shops, known for marzipan candies and other delicacies like almond and pistachio pastries. You will travel on to Segesta passing through Trapani on the way. Once in Segesta, you will learn how it was one of the major cities of the ancient indigenous Elymian people. Here, you may visit the unfinished Doric temple dating back to the late 5th century B.C. Built on a hilltop just outside of the ancient city, it has a commanding view of the surrounding area. The price of this excursion does not include the admission fees (around Euro 10 per person per entrance). Return back to Palermo.

Day 8

Palermo - Taormina

Breakfast at the hotel. Private transfer by car from Palermo to Taormina. Free day at your leisure. Stay in a 3 stars hotel in the city centre of Taormina.

Day 9

Taormina - Etna Volcano - Taormina

Breakfast at the hotel. Free day at your disposal. Jeep tour of Etna Volcano: pleasurable visit at a family-run delicatessen and its annexed honeyextracting facility for a chance to sample a selection of wines, extra-virgin olive oils, honeys from wild-plants-derived pollen, and other typical Etnean products. Then will follow a suggestive exploration of one of the many lava-flow caverns formed during one of the many past eruptions. It is an easy-going trekking activity at about 2000 meters (6560 feet) of altitude above sea level to explore ancient and recently-formed craters and observe the whole Ionian coastline from above (Trekking suitable for a wide range of fitness levels). Return back to the hotel.

Day 10

Taormina - Noto - Tellaro - Marzamemi - Taromina

Breakfast at the hotel. Daily group excursion to Noto, Tellaro and Marzamemi. A day excursion by bus with Tour Leader. Arrival in Noto and tour of the historic Baroque downtown. Proceed towards the Roman Villa of Tellaro to visit the mosaics. Travel to Marzamemi, with free time to enjoy swimming and shopping for local products from the typical 'Tonnara'. Entry fees and lunch not included. Return to the hotel.

Taormina - Catania airport

The semi private tours are available only in English. The group tours doesn’t include pick up and drop off at the hotel: we’ll provide a meeting point.

Price validity: prices are valid until 30 November 2015. The prices are not valid for departure during Easter and on 1 May, 25 April, 2 June, 29 June, 2 November. On these periods quotes are on request.

The South of Italy And Sicily – Real Italy – Semi Private Package - available only from March to October - other period on request – Departure on Saturday.
